AfterTick Topical Cream combines doxycycline 8.5%, ketoprofen 5% and lidocaine 5% in a 30 g compounded formulation for local application. Your clinician decides whether it fits your situation.
In their established uses, doxycycline acts against certain bacteria, ketoprofen reduces pain and inflammation, and lidocaine temporarily numbs a local area. Those ingredient roles do not establish the effectiveness of this combined cream after a tick bite.

What does the $119 price include?
$119 CAD includes clinician review, a prescription if appropriate, one 30 g tube of AfterTick Topical Cream and delivery across Canada. There is no separate clinician-review or delivery fee for this pathway. A prescription is issued only if the clinician determines it is appropriate.
How long does the online consultation take?
The online consult questionnaire takes about 1 minute. A Canadian clinician reviews your submitted questionnaire within 48 hours. If more information is needed, the clinical team will contact you. The review timeframe does not include pharmacy preparation or delivery.
Is a prescription guaranteed?
No. A clinician reviews your symptoms, medical history and the details of the bite before deciding what care is appropriate. They may recommend a prescription, another care option or an in-person assessment.
Where is AfterTick available?
AfterTick serves Canadian residents. Location and clinical eligibility are confirmed through the assessment. If medication is prescribed, an Ontario pharmacy prepares it and delivery across Canada is included.
What if I no longer have the tick?
You can still begin the assessment. Share what you remember about the date, location, removal and likely attachment time, plus any photos and symptoms.
Should I wait for an online consultation if I feel unwell?
No. Seek prompt medical attention for a spreading rash, fever, flu-like symptoms or worsening concerns after a possible tick bite. Call 911 for trouble breathing, facial swelling, fainting or another medical emergency.
